Future of Washington’s Forests Roundtable

October 30-31, 2006
University of Washington Botanic Gardens,
Seattle, Washington

This Roundtable was funded by:
Washington State Department of Natural Resources,
The Northwest Environmental Forum (UW)

The Second and Third Progress Reports are available online!

The centerpiece of both the Roundtable and the November 20-21 Forum will be the findings of the five studies on timber economics, forest structure, and forest conversion authorized by the 2005 Legislature in response to the 2004 Forum. The Roundtable was constructed to consider the findings of the studies, as presented by the researchers, and consider the potential policy outcomes of those findings. Below we have those studies presented in streaming video with their corresponding slide presentations. If you have trouble viewing the presentations, please refer to the "Important Viewing Information" section of this web page.
