Barri has done R&D program Management, wood processing; researched factors affecting fiber formation, cloning, molecular biology, and nursery practices (currently co chair IUFRO nursery group). His past and current responsibilities at Weyerhaeuser include International Operations in Uruguay, wood properties and through the mill studies, and an alder cloning project.
